One of Australia's motocross legends had one of his most prized bikes stolen yesterday, after thieves smashed the front window of his workshop premises. The bike stolen was his 1992 Peter Jackson Yamaha YZ250. Craig provided some further details - "It’s my 1992 Peter Jackson YZ 250 race bike. It has many special parts most identifiable is the works Ohlins forks, the only set of its kind in Australia, Ohlins shock, magnesium clutch cover, Pro circuit exhaust and muffler and lots of other little special parts scattered over the whole bike."
Craig is naturally very upset at the theft so if you hear anything about this bike or if you're offered the bike or any of its parts then please contact your local Police.

This site has a chart with recommendations for jetting for Mikuni conversions on many of the popular European vintage dirt bikes. People are always asking “I want to put a Mikuni on my CZ 250, what jetting should I use?”, well, this chart will provide some answers. In most cases it provides recommended carb size, main jet, pilot jet, needle jet, needle and slide details. Sometimes it also tells you who provided the info to the site. Naturally they are all just baseline recommendations and you will still have to fine tune to your individual requirements.
It is a great resource and if you have a Mikuni fitted to a bike which isn’t on the list then please email them the details so they can add another to the chart.
