Which bike, which issue?

CD4 Update No. 3—11 April 2007

A little over two weeks and CD4 will be a happening thing!

Please find below a draft timetable of events on both days. There will only be very minor changes (if any) to this schedule for the event proper. Some changes may also be required for track sessions depending on track watering requirements on the day. Yes, they still have some water in the dam and we will be using it as efficiently as possible. That may mean that only the bottom half of the track is prepared and watered, rather than the full track. Better to have half a track fully prepared than a full track half prepared. We will make that call closer to the event.

We have had loads of interest in the camping on-site and that should make for a great atmosphere at CD4. There will be showers available at the motocross track, at the dirt track and even at the roadracing track if you want to venture that far afield for a scrub! However, it would still be wise to bring as much water as possible with you to the event for drinking, handwashing etc as there’ s only so much at the event.

Catering will be available as mentioned previously for breakfast, lunch and dinner on the Saturday and breakfast and lunch on the Sunday. Alcohol will also be available for sale on the Saturday evening at the track.

The interest in the event to date has been, in a word, staggering. We are sure that this will be the biggest vintage dirt bike event that Australia has ever seen. There has been a lot of interest too from many great Oz MX Legends from the past so it will be great to see many of them circulating during the Bel-ray Legend’ s Laps session each day.

Brad Lackey and Super Hunky are both looking forward to catching up with as many Aussies as possible at CD4 so make sure you go up and say Hi at the event. See you all there very soon!
